The Most Common Types of Black Magic (Sihr) According to Islam
In the modern world, we often dismiss "Magic" as fairytales or movies. But in Islam, Sihr (Black Magic) is a confirmed reality. It is mentioned explicitly in the Quran, and even the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was temporarily affected by it to teach us that no one is immune without the protection of Allah.

2. Sihr of Blocking Marriage (Sihr al-Ta’teel)
Do you know someone who is beautiful, educated, and pious, yet every time a suitor proposes, it fails at the last minute? This is often the work of Al-Ta’teel. The Jinn is sent to create an aversion between the suitor and the victim.
Symptoms:

3. Sihr of Illness (Sihr al-Marad)

4. Sihr of False Love (Al-Tiwalah)
This is often done by a wife who wants her husband to love her obsessively, or vice versa. The Prophet (saw) declared this as a form of Shirk (polytheism) because it seeks to alter the will of Allah through forbidden means.
Symptoms:

Obsession: The husband feels an uncontrollable desire for his wife to the point where he cannot bear to be away from her for an hour.

Blind Obedience: He obeys her commands blindly, even if they go against Islam or common sense.

Loss of Personality: The person becomes a "shell" of themselves, focused only on pleasing the one who cast the spell.
The Cure: How to Break These Knots
